Adam Hocker

Adam founded Future Profits Consulting (FPC) in 2018 and leads its 10‑member team. Before FPC, he spent seven years as a financial advisor with Farm Financial Strategies and ten years as Controller and CFO at Brenneman Pork, overseeing risk management, financial reporting, and production analysis—experience that shaped FPC’s mission of helping farm operations achieve consistent profitability.

In addition to his work at FPC, Adam owns and operates 27,000 pig spaces for Brenneman Pork and farms 800 acres of row crops with his family. His background in production agriculture, finance, and commodity risk management allows FPC to support clients across multiple areas.

Janelle works closely with local businesses and agricultural producers to provide customized financial solutions that support long term growth. With more than a decade of banking experience and a strong agricultural background, she specializes in commercial and agricultural lending. Janelle joined Hills Bank in 2014 and has since become a trusted advisor to many clients across Southeast Iowa.
At Nutrien, Andrew focuses on high‑impact and disruptive weather events, risk mitigation, and severe weather safety. He provides daily regional and global forecasts, scientific analysis, and weather products for agriculture while working with science, product development, and outreach teams to support Nutrien’s weather platform. He also presents across North America on severe weather and risk reduction in agriculture. In addition, he collaborates with Nutrien’s Safety, Health & Environment team on weather safety training, issuing alerts for dangerous conditions, and supporting response and recovery after disasters.
